You will say the most important words of the day, if not your life,
when you say 'I do.' Now it's your chance to thank everybody and tell
your bride how much you love her - in front of everybody you know.
Daunted? Don't be
everybody is there because they want to be.
They've chosen to spend their free time watching you marry the woman
you love and, for once, the focus is not her dress but you. Enjoy
it, let them see how gorgeous you look and how lovely you are - it's
all in the words and that's why we're here to help you have a stress-free
day.
You may want to add in some speech games
or a love poem which you will find in our Love
Poems and Readings section. If you are wondering how to incorporate
a deceased relative within your speech, check out our Gone
But Not Forgotten article.
So, what is expected of the groom?

see our article on Gifts
for the Bridal Party.
- Compliment your new wife!
- Thank the Best Man for his help and give gifts
to him and the rest of the bridal party.
- Raise a glass and offer a toast to the bridesmaids.
