Choosing the right music for your civil ceremony is a completely personal decision but some couples feel restricted by traditional classical music or love songs. When picking your tracks, think about the meaning of the lyrics, see if it is associated with an advert or for a TV programme that isn’t appropriate for a wedding and whether you want upbeat, slow and smoochy or amusing music as your aural memory of the day.
