St Lucia is the second largest of the former West Indies
Associated States, lying between Martinique and St, Vincent
in the Windward Islands chain of the Caribbean.
St. Lucia has many faces for a visitor to be inspired and
fulfilled by. Its most famous and breathtaking sight has
to be the Pitons in the southwest: twin peaks rising from
the water. From Soufriere in the southwest you can drive
to the entrance of La Soufriere volcano with its bubbling
sulphur hot springs, rich in minerals. Marigot Bay is a
pretty, picturesque harbour where Dr Doolittle was filmed.
Castries, the capital is about 20 minutes drive from the
main beach areas on the Northwest coast where the beaches
are relaxed, the harbour busy and the nightlife active.
